What I see is the difference between old and new bands when performing:

Older bands, ie; foo fighers, guns and roses, ac/dc , they actually perform something.  their songs are changed up, they have solos and overall know that if the fans wanted to heart the same shit they recorded the fans could just stay home

New bands, everyone else. they just play their music at a higher volume and assume people are happy paying over 100 $ for that sheetz.
